How to get to arrive by Air

London has 3 major airports: Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted. All of these are located about 1 hour train ride from the city centre. When choosing your destination airport, please take into account the price of onward travel, see Travel to London page.

There are a number of budget airlines that fly to London from within the EU. Some of these are:

How to get to arrive by Bus

National Express (www.gobycoach.com) is Britain’s major carrier serving a large number of destinations on the European continent. They are reliable, comfortable and definitely worth considering, especially if your budget is limited and your nearest airport is difficult to reach.
