Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust Opens, 16 January 2023

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust has joined the Legacies and Futures study as of today! They are the 14th Trust to join the study, ensuring that more people receiving antenatal care around Greater London and Brighton and Hove are able to participate. If you would like to participate, or want more information about the study, we would be happy to have you join as a participant!

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust Opens, 05 December 2022

We are excited to announce the opening of the Legacies and Futures study at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. By expanding the study to include people accessing maternity services at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, this means you can join the study if you are receiving your pregnancy at the Trust. If you would like to participate, or want more information about the study, we would be happy to have you join as a participant!


West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospital NHS Trust Opens, 30 September 2022

West Hertfordshire is the newest site to open for the Legacies and Futures study, expanding the study to include people accessing maternity services at the Trust. If you would like to participate, or want more information about the study, we would be happy to have you join as a participant!


Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust Opens, 5 September 2022

Today, Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust has joined the Legacies and Futures study. We are excited to have them on board, with all maternity sites participating. Folks receiving antenatal care at RFL are welcome join, with more information listed under "Study Info" above.


Barts Health NHS Trust Opens, 17 August 2022

Today, Barts Health NHS Foundation Trust has joined the Legacies and Futures study, with all maternity sites participating. We are thrilled to have them as part of the study! If you are receiving your pregnancy care at this Trust, you are now welcome to take the eligibility questionnaire by clicking "participate" above.


St George's University Hospitals Opens, 15 August 2022

Homerton University Hospital Opens, 18 July 2022

North Thames RH&C Showcase, 15 July 2022

To help highlight the importance of inclusion reproductive health care for LGBTQIA+ parents, our study coordinator presented about the Legacies and Futures study at the research showcase. Hosted by the North Thames Clinical Research Network, the Reproductive Health and Childbirth research showcase featured presentations about the importance research plays in providing a bridge between research and the service users who participate in and benefit from health research, as well as showing existing on-going studies.


Q&A Webinar Hosted by Imperial, 14 July 2022

To spread the word about the Legacies and Futures study, Imperial hosted a Trust-wide webinar to share the importance of the study for providing supportive and inclusive care for LGBTQIA+ folks using reproductive health services, including perinatal care (i.e., pregnancy and postpartum services).


University Hospitals Sussex Opens, 28 June 2022

Brighton and Hove folks can now join in the Legacies and Futures study if they are receiving their pregnancy care at Royal Sussex County Hospital and Princess Royal Hospital. We are excited to have University Hospital Sussex as part of the Legacies and Futures study!


Whittington Opens, 21 June 2022

It is a pleasure to announce that the Whittington Health NHS Trust is now an active Trust for the Legacies and Futures study. We are welcoming pregnant folks who are receiving care at the Trust to join the study. If you are interested, you can fill out the eligibilty questionnaire.


Imperial College Healthcare Opens, 9 June 2022

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is the fifth site to open for the Legacies and Futures study. Folks who are pregnant and receiving antenatal care can now join the study as a participant. The "participate" link above will take you to the eligibility questionnaire, with more information about the available through the patient information sheet.


University College London Hospital Opens, 20 May 2022

University College London Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has opened today, inviting folks receiving pregnancy services at the Trust to participate in the study. If you are receiving care at this Trust, you may also be interested in the sub-study, completing a journal at home, that will be taking place exclusively at the Trust.


Guy's and St Thomas' Opens, 11 May 2022

If you are receiving your pregnancy care through Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, you are now welcome to join the Legacies and Futures study. We are glad to have Guy's and St Thomas' to the growing list of active Trusts in the study.


Kingston Hospital Opens, 9 May 2022

The Legacies and Futures study has opened at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, with posters going up around Kingston's antenatal care areas to mark the opening. We are excited to have them as part of the study! Folks who are booked at Kingston are welcome to take the eligibility questionnaire if interested in participating.


King's College Hospital Opens, 6 May 2022

Today, King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust opened for participants in the Legacies and Futures study. If you are currently receiving your pregnancy care at Denmark Hill, PRUH, MAU, or any of the other maternity care sites, please consider joining the study through the "Participate" link in the menu above.


Ethical Approval Received, 10 February 2022

We are thrilled to announce that the study has received ethical approval! Sites are preparing to open for data collection. If you are interested in participating, check back or sign up for the mailing list to be notified about when sites open.
