We ask you to book your own accommodation, although recommendations are provided below. The most convenient and economical (22 GBP/ night) option is to book a room in one of UCL's student halls of residence which are available during the summer period. These rooms, however, may fill quickly so please book in advance, the sooner the better.

There are three options, the closest of which is Campbell House, literally around the corner from the Institute of Archaeology. The next closest in Astor college on Charlotte Street, an area with many retaurants, and a 10 minute walk to the Institute of Archaeology. Ifor-Evans Hall is located in a residential area of Camden, about 30 minutes walk to the institute or a short bus ride.

In order to book your room, follow the links above to the residence web page, from which you can download a booking form, or download it here. Fill in this booking form and return by mail or fax to the residence you have chosen. You need to pay a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the cost of your stay in advance when booking. You can pay by credit card or by a cheque in British Pounds.
