I am an Associate Professor in Sustainable Food Systems at the University College London, in the Institute for Sustainable Resources. I am also the Institute's Research Director.

In 2022, my 5-year European Research Council Starting Grant FLORA (“Sustainable and healthy food solutions: system dynamics and trade-offs”) will be launched.

I obtained my Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering & Water Resources in 2014 with Ignacio Rodriguez-Iturbe and my Certificate in Science, Technology and Environmental Policy with Denise Mauzerall, both at Princeton University.
After that, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment, hosted by Declan Conway.
I was then a Natural Environment Research Council Independent Research Fellow from 2016-2021.

My interests are Environmental Engineering and Policy, in particular for water resources management, food security and sustainability implications.
