I am currently Santos Professor of Energy & Resources in the School of Energy and Resources, UCL Australia. This is a secondment from my permanent position of Professor of Process Systems Engineering in the Department of Chemical Engineering at University College London located in central London. I previously held an EPSRC Advanced Fellowship. A short biography is available elsewhere.

Graphical interactive interface for heat exchanger network design and process optimisation.
My main research interests are in the area of decision support through the development of computer aided design tools with the aim of aiding engineers, policy makers and other stakeholders in gaining an understanding of the issues that affect design.
