Biography

Terry moved to the UK in 2024 to pursue an MRes in Biosciences at University College London, following the completion of a BSc in Biomedical Science at Zhejiang University. During his undergraduate studies, Terry’s research interests were rooted in plant metabolomics and the isolation of natural products, where he gained hands-on experience in analytical techniques and natural product chemistry.

After graduating, Terry shifted his focus to structural biology, a field he discovered a passion for upon joining UCL. Currently, he is working on a project involving cross-linking mass spectrometry (XL-MS), aiming to explore protein interactions and structures. His research integrates experimental and computational approaches, particularly focusing on the use of bioinformatics tools for data interpretation.

Outside the lab, Terry loves throwing down Street Fighter 6 and rocking out at concerts whenever he gets the tickets.
