Biography

Jon completed an integrated masters in Biochemistry at Cardiff University in 2022. After two years of working as a research assistant at the University of Cambridge, he has joined the Thalassinos lab to undertake a 4 year EPSRC PhD. His research focuses on developing mass spectrometry methods for understanding protein sub cellular localisation, and their interactome. He is also focusing on developing analysis methods for this multi dimensional data, with the help of his secondary supervisor Franca Fraternali.

Outside of the lab Jon is a keen pianist and enjoys hiking and powerlifiting
