Jason Wilson

Jason teaches a general course on modern Hispanic poetry, and more specialised courses on surrealist poetry, the short story in Latin America, and Lorca, Neruda, Cernuda and Paz. He has published Octavio Paz: A Study of his Poetics (1979), Octavio Paz (1989), An A-Z of Modern Latin American Literature in English Translation (1989), Traveller's Literary Companion to South and Central America (1993), and articles on Spanish American literature and culture. His research interests include surrealist poetry, and literary and scientific travellers in Latin America.
