Dr David Henn

Dr Henn teaches a general course on modern Spanish literature and more specialised courses on Spanish romanticism, realism and naturalism, contemporary Spanish narrative, and the fiction and travel literature of C J Cela and J Goytisolo. He has published C J Cela: La colmena (1974), The Early Pardo Bazán: Theme and Narrative Technique in the Novels of 1879-89 (1988), and a series of articles on modern Spanish narrative and travel literature. His research interests include Spanish fiction (1870 to the present) and Spanish travel literature (1939-75). Dr Henn is on sabbatical leave this year (1997-1998).
