Surfing on Free Surfaces by Undulating Propulsion
An ERC-funded research project investigating the fluid mechanics of wave-driven propulsion.
I am an Associate Professor in Marine Fluid Dynamics at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at University College London. I am a member of the Marine, Autonomy and Robotic Systems (MARS) research group.
I use mathematical modelling, numerical simulations and small-scale experiments to study fluid dynamics problems with environmental and industrial applications. Some examples of my research are featured below:
