Brief bio

I am a Professor of Mathematics at UCL (Department of Mathematics, Geometry and Topology group). I am currently the recepient of an EPSRC New Investigator Award (2018-2023).

Before joining UCL in 2016 I was a Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge (2014-2016) and a Veblen Research Instructor at Princeton University and at the Institute for Advanced Study (2011-2014).
During the spring and summer terms 2019 I was a member of Princeton's Institute for Advanced Study.

I studied for my DPhil at ETH Zürich from 2006 to 2011 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tristan Rivière. I received my PhD from ETH in 2012, with distinction (medal and prize-money).

I was an undergraduate (2001-2004) and a master student (2004-2006) at the Scuola Normale Superiore and at Università di Pisa.
