The discussions will be recorded. After the meetings, they will be transcribed and anonymised to ensure that all contributions are confidential.

The whole transcripts will only be looked at by me, and sections will be incorporated into my PhD thesis, within the next 18 months or so.

These views form a vital part of research into public attitudes to biotechnology and will help deepen understanding of how the introduction of new science and technology affects people.
