The West Bank and East Jerusalem Archaeological Database

The West Bank and East Jerusalem Database was a project conducted by Dr Rafi Greenberg and myself in Tel Aviv University between 2005 and 2009. This project included the compilation of data regarding all surveys and excavations conducted in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem by Israel since 1967. This database is a synthesis of all archaeological and administrative data deriving from Israeli sources (Israel Antiquities Authority, Staff Officer for Archaeology in Judea and Samaria, academic institutions in Israel). It includes approximately 6,000 surveyed sites and 1,000 excavated sites. The database has a preliminary and final publications, and can also be search online on USC or DAAHL websites.
