Hall of Fame

Once a year, the ULU Novice (for both full and associate members) and Senior (for full students only) Championships are held. The format may change year by year. The male and female champions will have their names engraved on their respective trophies.

The handicap trophy is awarded to the archer who has improved the most over the indoor season or on the day of the Senior Championships. The algorithm or calculations used to work out the winner varies from records officer to records officer. Associate members are eligible.

The Purple award, for full students only, is the highest Sports honour ULU can bestow:

• Full Purple - "Outstanding SPORTING achievement" - successful performance at a national level or national league standard or for the national team (student or non-student), depending on the structure of the organisation of the sport within the UK.
• Half Purple - "Outstanding SPORTING achievement, but not to the standard of a Full Purple" - successful performance at a level below national (probably county or regional). Where appropriate, competing for regional team (i.e. SE England).
