Practical session 4 (afternoon)
Exercise 1
- Devise an XML-based encoding scheme for one of the recipes and encode
it as a well-formed XML document.
- It is best to use Notepad to enter your XML document. Save the document
as a plain text file with the extension .xml
- You can view the XML document in Internet Explorer.
Exercise 2
- Write a DTD for the Marlowe poem and encode the poem in XML conforming
to your DTD.
- Validate the XML encoding at the Brown University Scholarly Technology
Group's XML validator.
