Some Other Interests

Walking in Andorra on Coma Pedrosa, 1999

Walking in the Italian Dolomites (September 1999)

Here is a picture of Iain in the Clwydian Hills where I did a lot of walking whilst based in Chester on a Royal Academy of Engineering secondment to North West Water in 1998.

One of my favourite websites is the live camera looking at the Matterhorn

In the summer of 1998 I walked up Punta Gnifetti, one of the peaks of Monte Rosa (2nd highest in the Alps). On the way I went up the Breithorn.  Here is a photo of an interesting route up to the Aosta hut.

I am also a keen cross-country skier and regularly visit Norway and various alpine areas, including the Dolomites.  In January 2000 I went off track skiing in Kuhtai, Austria
