Intersting mathematical material
There is a lot of very good material out there and it's not my intention to list it all here. I just put recommendations for things that I find absolutely outstanding and feel very comfortable recommending to anyone.
Notes/books available freely online
- Thurston notes about 3-manifolds
Page for the course
- Uniformisation of Riemann surfaces
Exercises Chern classes
- Sullivan's take on Herman's theorem
link
(This will only be intersting to people who know a bit about circle diffeomorphisms) A very insightful, high-level take on Herman's proof of the regularity of the conjugating map for circle diffeomorphisms of irrational rotation number.
- Anantharaman's HDR dissertation (in French)
link
A great introduction to several aspects of quantum chaos. Requires some basic knowledge of quantum mechanics and dynamics.
Books
- History of bladiblou
Page for the course
- Old quantum mechanics book
Exercises Chern classes (2022-2023)
- Mathematician's delight
I have found this link but I don't how permanent and how legal it is.
A fantastic little book about learning, teaching mathematics and the nature of it.
