Me!
To start off, I must apologise for the very basic website designing. I've never really been much of an arty person, so I realise that this will all look rather bland. But we all know a few pictures liven things up a bit, so if Dreamweaver is going to let me, I'll dot them around in some form of geometrically concise, aesthetically pleasing manner.
Anyway, let's press on. I was born in York, ('oop nerth'), but moved to Essex ('daaan saaaf') when I was 11 and had just finished primary school. I used to really enjoy being on stage, acting and singing when I was little, but now I think it's been far too long since I've done it to do it again (that is, of course, with the exception of Karaoke night at the Union...), but I now occupy myself mostly with as much geeky stuff as I can.
For example, I love a bit of World of Warcraft. It's awesome. I play a lot of computer games, the majority of which are RPGs or Fantasies. I don't really 'get' the shooting ones. I mean, sure, I understand the concept but what's the point? You might as well be the person that writes the safety notices in my flat's kitchen (my person favourite was 'Beware! Steam is hotter than water!').
I also adore literature, every single kind of it. I just can't get enough of reading, writing and generally being over elaborate and prolix. Indeed, my favourite and best subject at school was English and I surprised my teacher with my choice of course.
There's something I haven't talked about yet - uni. Well, I'm in my first year of a four year Theoretical Physics degree (it sounds fancy, but it's essentially glorified number crunching) and I'm really enjoying it. Mathematics and I seem to be getting along very nicely so I've been very competent with the work so far, but I'm sure that won't last forever!
