I am an Honorary Research Fellow at University College London, loosely affiliated to the Department of Philosophy. I completed my PhD there in 2004 on Kant's Theory of Progress.
I have this year joined former colleagues from the Birkbeck College Continuing Education philosophy programme to form the London School of Philosophy. In the academic year 2011-2012 I will teaching courses on the Philosophy of History from Kant to Foucault (autumn term 2011), Walter Benjamin (spring term 2012) and Philosophy of Art from Kant to Derrida and Lyotard (spring term 2012).
In the Autumn of 2010 I taught a four-week course on Marx's Capital at Middlesex University.
From 2008 to 2010 I was a Sessional Lecturer in Philosophy at Birkbeck College London, teaching well-attended Certificate of Higher Education courses on Kant, Philosophy of History, Continental Aesthetics and German Romanticism. Unfortunately, Birkbeck felt it had to close down these and most other philosophy Certificate courses.
I am on the organising group of the Marx and Philosophy Society.
Some reviews I have had published:
