About Me

I am a PhD student in UCL's philosophy department, working with Mike Martin. My thesis concerns conceptions of semantic content and its relation to the objects of assertion and thought. My main research interests are in the philosophy of logic and language, Frege, and linguistics. I co-organise the UCL Linguistics and Philosophy joint seminar and edit the Relativism about Truth and Predicates and Context-Dependence categories of PhilPapers.

Before joining UCL, I did an MA in philosophy at Birkbeck, and a BA in maths and philosophy at Oxford. I'm originally from St. Andrews and now live in London with my girlfriend and our two children.
