I am a
Professor in the Department of Economics at UCL and a Research Fellow at the Institute
for Fiscal Studies, where I direct the Centre for the Evaluation of
Development Policies (EDePo). I am
interested in modelling household
behaviour in developed and developing
countries and, more generally, in
Applied Econometrics. In
particular, my current and recent research has focused on: v Household
Consumption and Saving Behaviour; v Life
Cycle Behaviour; v Risk
Sharing; v Housing
Markets; v Evaluation
and Design of Policies in Developing Countries; v Micro
Credit; v Measurement
Tools in Surveys. I am
currently Editor of Quantitative Economics,
a new journal of the Econometric Society.
