About me

 

 

  • I am a summa cum laude graduate from the University of Florence, Italy, and have a laurea in English Language and Literature with a thesis on Edith Wharton's The Fruit of the Tree.
  • I also did an MA in Philosophy (Department of Philosophy, UCL) and a PhD in Comparative Literature (Department of German, UCL), with a thesis on Edith Wharton and German Literature.
  • I did my teacher training at the Polytechnic of North London (PGCE) and at the UCL CALT - Centre for the Advancement of Learning and Teaching (Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education).
  • My interests are: English literature (esp. Hamlet), Anglo-American literature (esp. Edith Wharton), 19th century German culture, comparative literature, translation studies.
