what i'm up to at the moment

i'm a research fellow in the department of earth sciences at university college london, specialising in planetary geology.

my research combines experiments, theory, and observations, to better understand the geological evolution of terrestrial planets and moons. i'm particularly interested in the role of ice in the water budget of mars and the evolution of large icy moons, but have spent a lot of time looking at venus too.

research method planetary body
experiments mars
theory venus
observations icy moons

i'm currently funded by the stfc, on an aurora cross-disciplinary fellowship scheme. during my phd and postdoc i worked with several members of earth sciences at ucl, including dr dominic fortes, dr lidunka vocadlo, prof ellen stofan and prof john guest, and also with people from outside ucl, including prof francis nimmo, and dr trudi hoogenboom.

below you can find links to some of the publications that this work has entailed, and my adacdemic cv.
