Philip D. Mannion

I am a vertebrate palaeobiologist based in the Earth Sciences Department at University College London in the UK. I have recently completed my PhD and am currently employed as a lecturer.

My research focuses on macroevolutionary patterns in the Mesozoic terrestrial realm, in particular the evolutionary history of dinosaurs. I also research sauropodomorph taxonomy, systematics and phylogeny, and investigate sampling biases and their effect on observed vertebrate palaeobiodiversity patterns.
