I am co-organising two seminars: the KCL/UCL Geometry Seminar and the Brussels-London Geometry Seminar. I also co-organise a Geometric Analysis Reading Seminar.

KCL/UCL Geometry Seminar

This is a joint seminar that is organised by the research groups of King's College London and University College London.

Term 1 (Autumn): Wednesdays at KCL from 15:00-16:00. The room is S4.23 in the Strand Building, KCL (Strand Campus).

Term 2 (Spring): Wednesdays at UCL from 15:00-16:00. The room is Anatomy G04 Gavin de Beer Lecture Theatre.

Term 3 (Summer): Wednesdays at UCL from 15:00-16:00 in the Harrie Massey Lecture Theatre. The room is in the same building as the Department of Mathematics at UCL (25 Gordon Street).

Click on the name of the speaker in the calendar to find out the day, time, room (in case of additional talks and changes to the usual schedule) and to read the abstract.

Brussels-London Geometry Seminar

This is a seminar series held jointly by Geometry groups in Brussels (ULB) and London (UCL, Queen Mary, King's and Imperial).

The next meeting will be on 31 May 2017 at QMUL, London with a theme of Geometric Flows. The confirmed speakers are Paul Feehan, Gerhard Huisken and Peter Topping.

The schedule will mean it is possible to attend without an overnight stay. Lunch will be provided.

The last meeting was on 23 January 2017 at ULB, Brussels with a theme of Low-Dimensional Topology. The speakers were Andrasz Juhasz, Jake Rasmussen and Andy Wand.

For more details visit the Brussels-London Geometry seminar webpage or contact one of the organisers: Joel Fine and Jason Lotay.

You can also subscribe to the seminar mailing list by send an email to one of the organisers.

This seminar is partially supported by an LMS Scheme 3 grant, an Action der Recherche Concertée, an Interuniversity Action Poles grant and an ERC Consolidator Grant.

Geometric Analysis Reading Seminar

This is an informal reading seminar on topics in geometric analysis organised by geometers at UCL, which is also of interest to analysts, and is attended by researchers at Imperial, King's, Queen Mary and UCL.

The topics we cover range from the elementary to the advanced and the seminar is meant to be informal and a chance to learn about the subject, so suggestions for future topics are greatly encouraged. We particularly encourage participation by PhD students.

The seminar typically meets around lunchtime on Wednesdays at UCL. Further details can be found on the seminar webpage.
